What's new in TillJotter. This product is actively built and maintained — here's the receipts.
August 14, 2026
- NewAdded this changelog, plus About and Security pages, so you can see who builds TillJotter and how your data is protected.
- ImprovedThe bank sync status panel now explains itself in plain English instead of showing technical detail you can’t act on.
August 13, 2026
- FixedDismissed duplicate-transaction alerts stayed dismissed. Previously the same alert could reappear after you edited the transaction.
- Improved“Post All to Ledger” now warns you when a transaction already exists in your books, and offers to skip it — so importing a bank feed on top of entries you typed by hand no longer double-counts them.
August 4, 2026
- NewEvery account now starts with a 14-day free trial of all Pro features — no card required.
- NewAdded a “How this works” explainer to every page, so you can learn a feature without leaving what you’re doing.
- NewAdded a desktop sidebar showing every section at once, with the option to collapse it for more screen space.
- ImprovedChanging your email now requires your current password, and changing your password signs out all other devices.
- ImprovedRewrote the manual to cover every feature accurately, for every type of business — not just retail and catering.
- FixedYour numbers now update immediately after you post something. Previously the dashboard could show stale figures until you refreshed.
- FixedStopped unexpected sign-outs that could happen mid-work or right after signing in.
August 2, 2026
- NewAdded in-app support — you can now send us a question from inside TillJotter, or from the website before you sign up.
August 1, 2026
- NewAdded Accounts Payable for tracking vendor bills you owe, alongside an A/R & A/P aging report.
- ImprovedBilling now shows clearly when a subscription is set to cancel, and emails you to confirm it.
July 28, 2026
- NewReports gained a date-range filter, and you can now click any figure to see the transactions behind it — and recategorize one right from there.
- NewAdded mileage tracking that converts business trips into a deduction at the current IRS rate.
